During the year 2023, Exports from Sri Lanka to Bouvet islands amounted to a total value of Rs. 6.83 million, while the Imports to Sri Lanka from Bouvet islands amounted to a total value of Rs. 0.04 million. This resulted in a positive Bilateral Trade Balance of Rs. 6.79 million for Sri Lanka with Bouvet islands for the year 2023.

In comparison, during the year 2022, Exports from Sri Lanka to Bouvet islands amounted to a total value of Rs. 0.09 million, while Imports to Sri Lanka from Bouvet islands amounted to a total value of Rs.6.46 million. This resulted in a negative Bilateral Trade Balance of Rs. -6.37 million for Sri Lanka with Bouvet islands for the year 2022.

Therefore there has been an increase in the Bilateral Trade surplus of Sri Lanka with Bouvet islands from the year 2022 to the year 2023.
