In comparison, during the year 2016, Exports from Sri Lanka to St. helena amounted to a total value of Rs. 4.64 million, while the Imports to Sri Lanka from St. helena amounted to a total value of Rs.0.39 million. This resulted in a positive Bilateral Trade Balance of Rs. 4.25 million for Sri Lanka with St. helena for the year 2016.
Therefore there has been an decrease in the Bilateral Trade deficit of Sri Lanka with St. helena from the year 2016 to the year 2017.
