In comparison, during the year 2023, Exports from Sri Lanka to North korea amounted to a total value of Rs. 7.78 million, while Imports to Sri Lanka from North korea amounted to a total value of Rs.0.17 million. This resulted in a positive Bilateral Trade Balance of Rs. 7.61 million for Sri Lanka with North korea for the year 2023.

Therefore there has been an increase in the Bilateral Trade surplus of Sri Lanka with North korea from the year 2023 to the year 2024.
