During the year 2023, Exports from Sri Lanka to South korea amounted to a total value of Rs. 24,415.95 million, while the Imports to Sri Lanka from South korea amounted to a total value of Rs. 68,240.27 million. This resulted in a negative Bilateral Trade Balance of Rs. -43,824.32 million for Sri Lanka with South korea for the year 2023.

In comparison, during the year 2022, Exports from Sri Lanka to South korea amounted to a total value of Rs. 26,590.48 million, while Imports to Sri Lanka from South korea amounted to a total value of Rs.73,327.58 million. This resulted in a negative Bilateral Trade Balance of Rs. -46,737.10 million for Sri Lanka with South korea for the year 2022.

Therefore there has been an increase in the Bilateral Trade surplus of Sri Lanka with South korea from the year 2022 to the year 2023.
